Pancho & Willie's

We arrived around 5:30 pm, we didn't have a reservation but offered to be out down for 7:45 pm. We had nothing else to do but hang around and play a few slots while we waited, to our surprise it was well worth the wait. I do recommend getting a reservation as this place does get busy. We were seated not long after arriving at 7:45 pm and promptly asked what we were having to drink, soon after we were brought chips and salsa - one mild one spicy; both delicious! Our waitress then came around to ask if we needed a few more minutes which we did - everything looked amazing we had a hard time deciding. When she returned to take our order she noticed our chips were mostly broken up and apologized and promptly brought us a new basket overflowing with chips that were not in pieces. My boyfriend and I have eaten at many Mexican restaurants where the chips are broken into pieces, we don't ever think much of it because a chip is a chip, but the fact that our waitress noticed and promptly brought out new ones left us impressed. While we waited on our food multiple staff members checked on us, filled up our water, and made sure we were good. The staff here is attentive! When the food came out it had a beautiful presentation. My boyfriend had the steak fajitas (they were lit before serving) and I had the steak tacos. The meat was meaty and not fatty which is what we love when we order steak anything. The atmosphere is chic and welcoming. We left happy and full. We will make this our stop for dinner any time we are visiting. Thank you, Pancho & Willie's for the pleasant experience. Had a reservation, was able to show up right on time. They seated & served 6 of us - our waitress was really attentive & friendly. We got the Grand Molcajete and it was so good!!!!! We ordered 2 of those and had more than plenty of left overs (after SIX people ate)! The meat was really tender and shrimp was cooked perfectly. Love their salsas. I had a great time and would recommend! Tres Leches cake was delicious too!

Favorite place to eat while in Wendover! Ramiro is fantastic and we have to request him every time. He’s sharp, super personable and even when his tables are stacked to the brim he still gives the best service we’ve ever seen!!! He’s the BEST!!! Food is ALWAYS served steaming hot and smells amazing!! We always share the molcajetè (small or standard size is definitely more than enough to feed 2 people). You have the option of flour or corn tortillas. They bring delicious mild and spicy salsa out right away. Seriously the BEST place we’ve found here.
